MAAC 24 FPS is one of the most prestigious platforms where creativity meets competition. It is a national-level event where students showcase their skills in animation, VFX, filmmaking, and design, competing with talents from across the country.

Students from MAAC Kolkata actively participate, presenting their best projects, films, and creative works on a bigger stage. The event provides valuable exposure, allowing them to experience real industry-level competition and recognition.

From storytelling to technical execution, 24 FPS highlights the dedication, innovation, and hard work of aspiring creators. It not only celebrates talent but also opens doors to new opportunities in the animation and VFX industry.

The MAAC Creative Carnival is a grand celebration of talent, creativity, and achievement. The event begins with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony by our prestigious directors, Naveen Choudhary and Naina Choudhary, setting a positive and inspiring tone for the day. It is followed by Dronacharya Speaks, where industry experts share valuable insights, real-world experiences, and guidance for aspiring creative professionals. Next comes Legends of MAAC, a special alumni meet where former students reconnect, share their journeys, and inspire the current generation. The celebration continues with Prayas, a vibrant cultural segment where students showcase their talents through energetic and expressive performances. Students are also recognized and awarded for their outstanding creative work, making the event even more special.

Annual Picnic

The MAAC Kolkata Annual Picnic is more than just a day out—it’s a vibrant celebration of fun, friendship, and creativity. Students step away from classrooms to enjoy games, activities, and unforgettable moments together, creating memories that last beyond their academic journey. Every year, the excitement rises with cricket, football, and various sports competitions held between the three MAAC centers, bringing in a spirit of healthy competition and teamwork. The energy, enthusiasm, and cheering make it one of the most awaited highlights of the picnic.

A special tradition adds to the thrill—the rotating trophy. If a center wins the championship for three consecutive years, the trophy permanently belongs to that center, making every match even more intense and meaningful.

For the students at MAAC Chowringhee, Rashbehari & Ultadanga the whole year is nothing short of a challenge with back to back classes and competitions and challenges, so that's why December is one of those times for which every MAAC Chowringhee, Rashbehari & Ultadanga student waits eargerly. It is not because its the end of the year but actually because December is the time for Christmas which also means its time for the year end party at MAAC Chowringhee, Rashbehari & Ultadanga. An evening of fun and frolic, it just lets our students forget all their tensions from the past year and have pure fun. There was also a competition where the students were asked to make teams and create a Christmas scene to depict the essence of Christmas.
